Our construct expresses FST-344, the isoform that acts on skeletal muscle with minimal effect on other tissue, distinct from the hepatic form of follistatin.
Muscle has a built-in brake. A protein called myostatin tells muscle when to stop growing, and with age that signal increasingly outweighs the body's capacity to rebuild. Follistatin is its natural counterweight: it binds myostatin and eases the brake, so muscle can respond to training and repair.
